Daring to embrace diversity

The disruptive transformation of society today continues to confront businesses and their teams with new challenges. One approach towards meeting those challenges is to create a working environment defined by a culture of diversity and inclusion which can generate innovation and growth.

Research findings clearly demonstrate that higher levels of creativity, a greater variety of ideas, and greater respect in our dealings with one another are key success factors in today’s competitive environment. P&G is firmly convinced that each and every individual has unique talents to offer, which are fully harnessed and reflected in outstanding performance only in interaction with their fellow employees. Diversity and inclusion have therefore been an important part of our values and principles for many years.

Together with LEAD und PLAN W, the women´s magazine of Süddeutsche Zeitung, we warmly invite you to a panel discussion on the ways in which a diverse and integrative work environment can deliver benefits for everyone involved.

Debate the issues with:

Astrid Teckentrup (VP Sales, Procter & Gamble),
Prof. Dr. Ulrike Detmers (Executive Manager and Partner, Mestemacher Group)
Lencke Steiner (Head of FDP-parliamentary group in Bremen)
Mark Möbius (MARC Ambassador and former Senior VP Marketing Dell EMEA)
Veronika Pountcheva (Senior Advisory Board LEAD and Senior VP Corporate Responsibility Metro AG)

The panel discussion, chaired by Stefanie Bilen (PLAN W), will take place on
Wednesday, January 31, 2018 as of 6.30 p.m.* in Frankfurt a. M ., at Restaurant Frankfurter Botschaft
*The panel discussion itself will begin at approx. 7:00 p.m., and the event will conclude at approx. 10:30 p.m.

The discussion will focus specifically on issues facing executives on a daily basis: What is the most effective way to lead diverse teams? How can viable compromises be formed from a variety of different ideas and views? Are we up to the challenge of working with diverse teams?

Other questions addressed will include effective techniques for overcoming bstacles and (internal) barriers to diversity and inclusion. And how is greater equality for women linked to economic growth? Does the commitment to diversity and inclusion pay off? We already know the answer – absolutely!

We look forward to sharing our ideas and experience.
